The personal grooming of each student should be in accord with the standards set by the uniform dress code. Students should be clean and neat when at school.

All students:
• White shirts with collars (includes mock turtleneck, long or short sleeves, cotton of knit. No logos other than school logos. Shirts must be tucked in.
• Brown, black, navy or burgundy shoes (loafer type or casual dress). Athletic shoes should be brought to school for use in gym. Boots are not permitted except as outwear. Heels on shoes must be 2” or less. Platform shoes or open back shoes like clogs are not allowed. Athletic shoes with wheels are not allowed. Shoes must be tied if they have laces.
• Cold weather attire may include solid color sweaters or vests in navy, white, beige, tan, burgundy, rust, or dark green. No hoods are permitted. No sweatshirts are permitted in the classrooms. A collared shirt must be worn under sweaters and vests.
• Hats and head scarves are not permitted.
• Extreme hairstyles and colored faux hair are not permitted. Hair color for boys and girls must be of natural tones. Hair must be off the collar for boys.
• Sweatpants, wide-leg, carpenter, cargo, multiple large pocket, or drawstring pants are not permitted. No denim or jean material. Belts must be worn when there are belt loops.
• Pants, skirts, shorts, etc. must be worn at waist.
• No sleeveless shirts, tank tops, or muscle shirts.
• No tattoos allowed.
• No sagging pants or low rise pants/skirts.
• No clothing wrapped around the waist.
• No ripped or torn clothing, no bare midriffs.

Boys:
• Navy or dark blue pants or shorts; belts must be worn with trousers having belt loops. No denim or jean material. Shirts must stay tucked in pants.
• Socks must be worn at all times. White tan, black, or navy socks.
• Hairstyles must be conservative with hair being off the collar.
• Earrings or body piercing ornaments are not permitted.

Girls:
• Navy or dark blue pants, skirts, skorts, jumpers; must be longer than the fingers when arms hang at the student’s side or no more than three inches above the knee.
• White, black, tan, or navy socks/tights must be worn at all times.
• A reasonable number of earrings are permitted. Earrings length must be reasonable and may not touch the shoulder. Only ears may be pierced.
• Makeup is not permitted.
• Body piercing ornaments are not permitted.

Middle school dress code:
Middle school students (grades 6-8) are subject to the above dress code standards except for the color of clothing. Middle school clothing colors are: navy blue shirts with khaki pants. Students may wear a white collared shirt under their navy sweater or vest. Socks, tights, and stockings may be black, navy, white, or tan. All other rules apply.
